He is survived by: his children, Michael Herrin (Amanda Hartline) of Valdosta and April Harrison (Jackie Harrison) of Cecil; and his siblings, Johnny Herrin, Jimmie Herrin and Donald Herrin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
