He is survived by: his siblings, Don, Barbara, Robert and Ted Walden; his sister-in-law Joan; his wife Dorothy Louise Register Walden; his siblings, Esther Walden Holland and Edmund Walden; his daughters, Amy Walden Drury (Blake Drury) and Kristen Walden Thomas (Sean Thomas); and his grandchildren, Cooper Blake Drury, Caroline Grace Drury, Cole Patrick Thomas and Vivian Reese Thomas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Valdosta (200 W Central Ave, Valdosta, GA 31601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Valdosta in Valdosta, Georgia (200 W Central Ave, Valdosta, GA 31601). The military honors was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
