With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Lyle Edge of Valdosta, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie James Edge and Julie Moody Edge; and his wife Jacqueline Edge. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Edge of Valdosta and Rhonda Marlin (Lisa Tinney) of Valdosta; and his grandchildren, Sierra MyKala Anderson (Thomas) of Marietta and Ravyn McKenzie Marlin of Duluth.
