He is survived by: his wife Joy Garner of Valdosta, GA; his children, Bradley Garner of Hahira, GA and Shanna Hysmith (Lee) of Quitman, GA; his grandchildren, Haley King (Austin), Clarence Garner (Taylor) and Taylor Hysmith; his great grandchild Evangeline "Rae Rae" King; his granddaughter Logan Folsom; his son Billy Linkswiler; his siblings, Hilda Whitley, Tammy Garner, Leon Garner, Sue Kirkland (Bobby) of Leesburg, GA and Bishop Martin Taylor (April) of Cleveland, TN; and his pets, Roman and Dexter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (3945 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
