He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Winston and Essie Sirmans Davis; his son Gary Davis; and his siblings, James Davis and Billie Jean Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Davis; his son Jeff of Valdosta; his daughter-in-law Tammy Davis of Valdosta; and his granddaughter Rachel Davis (Andrew Steinkopf). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
