She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Z. Lawhorn and Mattie Dismuke Lawhorn; her husbands, John M. Nesmith and Roy M. Zipperer; her brothers, Clyde Lawhorn and Charlie Lawhorn; and her stepchildren, Hugh Zipperer and Darlene Rowland.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia Steinberg (David Jr.) of Valdosta, Georgia; her stepdaughter-in-law Beverly Zipperer of St. Augustine, Florida; her stepson Alan Zipperer of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Stacy Kendrick (Chris), David Steinberg (April), Brooke White (Charles), Zoe Kendrick, Ivy Kendrick, Caroline White, Cooper White, Chance Steinberg and Bentley Steinberg; and her close friend Cindy Copeland of Valdosta, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Residence (5405 Sycamore Run, Hahira, GA 31632).
