With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth U. Ferrell of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Ferrell, Sr. and Mamie McDuffie Merritt Ferrell; and his wife Jerry Dean Hurst Ferrell. He is survived by: his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Toni Ferrell of Tallahassee, Florida; his daughter Jill Ferrell of Hahira, Georgia; his grandchildren, Joshua Ferrell (Liz) of Memphis and Katherine Ferrell of Frisco, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Reid Ferrell and Richard Kenneth Ferrell of Memphis.
