He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Corbett and Wynell Corbett; and his daughter Katie Corbett. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Diane Anders (Jeff) and Sheila Schmidt (Jim); his sister Phyllis Suggs (Wayne); his grandchildren, Jennifer Anders, Denell Jones, Blake Markham, Preston Howell, Fiona Hanewinkel, Jonathan Anders, Lance Howell, Dalton Corbett and Sofia Wakefield; and his grandson-in-law Phillip. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602).
