We bid farewell to Lonnie Dinkins of Valdosta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Lonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Dinkins Sr. and Bessie Price Dinkins; his wife Carol Dinkins; and his siblings, Randy Dinkins, Noma Jan Dinkins, Gene Dinkins, Pauline Dawson, Edward Lee Dinkins Jr., Ruth Rowan, Burrell Dinkins, Edna White and Horace Dinkins.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Charles Dinkins Jr. (Patricia) of Valdosta, GA and Deborah Deen McClintock (Eric); his grandchildren, Aidan McClintock, Emily Dinkins and Lauren McClintock; and his brother Del Dinkins (Jeanne) of Clermont, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services - Valdosta (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (399 GA-37, Adel, GA 31620).
