He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Dinkins Sr. and Bessie Price Dinkins; his wife Carol Dinkins; and his siblings, Randy Dinkins, Noma Jan Dinkins, Gene Dinkins, Pauline Dawson, Edward Lee Dinkins Jr., Ruth Rowan, Burrell Dinkins, Edna White and Horace Dinkins.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Charles Dinkins Jr. (Patricia) of Valdosta, GA and Deborah Deen McClintock (Eric); his grandchildren, Aidan McClintock, Emily Dinkins and Lauren McClintock; and his brother Del Dinkins (Jeanne) of Clermont, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
