In the vast expanse of eternity, Marilyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marilyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Joseph and Ida Zehnder Schuler; her husband Joseph Christian Zur Schmiede; and her son Joseph K. Zur Schmiede. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Hilgert (Larry) of Valdosta, Georgia and Mary Zur Schmiede of Indianapolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
