She was predeceased by: her siblings, Gene (Dorothy Stalvey), Betty (Earl Hambrick) and Jackie (David Bayless); John Hambrick and James Stalvey.

She is survived by: her husband Harvey Mays; her sons, Roger (Carolyn) and Doug (Susan); her grandchildren, Laura, Donnie, Korie, Colin Smith of Valdosta, GA, Thomas, Amanda, Eason, Caroline, Carleigh Mays of Blackshear, GA, John, Charlotte, Lily, Amelia, Miriam Mays of Macon, Matthew, Katherine and Bethany Mays of Decatur, GA.; her siblings, Peggy Folsom and Tommy; and her grandmother Stalvey. She is also survived by eleven nieces, nephews.
