He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Brunt Whitmer; his wife Lacie Evelyn Elaine Whitmer; his children, Emma Whitmer, Ella Whitmer and Keaton Whitmer; his father Paul Stephen Whitmer, Sr.; his siblings, Paulette Rutledge of Clyattville, GA, Paul Whitmer, Jr. of Valdosta, GA, Genaro Huerta of Cecil, GA and Alfonso Huerta of Cheraw, SC; and his parents-in-law, Jessica and Nelson Rutledge. He is also survived by five grandmothers, one papa, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
