We announce the death of Mildred Thomas of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her sister Arthea Alexander; and her niece Brenda. She is survived by: her son Woodrow "Woody"; her daughter-in-law Heidi Johnson; her daughter Magerline "Maggie"; her son-in-law Timothy Wright; her grandchildren, Kyle, Gavin, Karis, Candida, Destiney, Gabriella, Madisyn, Timothy Jr. "T. J.", Whitney and Amber; her sister Ethel Alexander; her nieces and nephews, Glen, Edward, Kenny, Reginald, Cresy, Mabel, Lois, Ruby, Joann, Larry and Salem; and her cousins, Barbara Ann, Eddie Moody, Stephanie Jessie and Kendrick Moody.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Arnold Funeral Homes & Cremation - Canton (1517 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44714). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
