He was predeceased by: his parents, William Goddard Sherman and Sarah Kramer Sherman; his siblings, Jocelyn Sherman Boyle and Timothy William Sherman; and his brother-in-law James Warren Boyle.
He is survived by: his nieces, Stephanie Boyle of Valdosta, GA, Sarah Boyle of Valdosta, GA and Allison Veal (Brian) of Forest Park, GA; and his great-nephew Aaron Veal. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, uncles.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Park Avenue Church (100 E Park Ave, Valdosta, GA 31602).
