He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottmar Robé and Margaret Flynn Robé; and his brothers, Edward and Thomas Robé. He is survived by: his sister Marjorie Davenport; his son Christopher Robé (Dana); and his granddaughter Nora. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Later, he moved to Valdosta, Georgia, where he was a regular at the Valdosta State University football games and made donations to help fund local sports teams.
