It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel James Boone of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton J. Boone and Anna R. Boone; and his sisters, Donna Curtis and Melanie Mauldin. He is survived by: his sisters, Alana (Bob Folsom) and Cherylene (Bo Miller); his nieces, Michelle Moxley (Jeff) and Jennifer Miller; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaley, Kendall, Kelci, Rett Folsom, Zack Moxley, Austin Boone (Breana), Gaines Boone, Jessie Boone and Bo Miller, III; and also, Rob, Deanna Folsom, Russ, Lana Folsom and Barry Boone. He is also survived by three nephews.
