He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Homer Leon Lassiter and Julia Devereaux Smith Lassiter. He is survived by: his brothers, Dr. Homer Lassiter, Jr. (Teresa) of Hoover, Alabama, J. Page Lassiter (Daphna) of Moultrie, Georgia and David W. Lassiter (Lisa) of Albany, Georgia.; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Katherine Lassiter Cherukuri (Chandu) of Hoover, Dr. Anna Lassiter of Hoover, Alabama, David W. Lassiter, Jr. of Columbus and W. Ward Lassiter; his aunts, Claire Lassiter and Mary Lassiter Snitch (Tom); and his friend Margaret Faison.
