She was predeceased by : her father Eddie C. Lewis; and her siblings, Eddie James Lewis, Casey Lewis and Ethelene Lewis. She is survived by : her mother Clara Mae Ford Lewis; her children, Mya Hill (Shawn), Tanisha Jones, Crystal Jones and Charles Jones Jr.; her grandchildren, John Cody, Deanna Hawkins, Adaline Jones, Hazel Hill and Harper Hill; her siblings, Shirley High, Deborah Glenn (Charles), Kathy Hinds and Carl Lewis (Freddie Mae); and her nephew Leon High. She is also survived by relatives and loving friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home, Inc. (407 W 17th Ave E, Cordele, GA 31015-2444). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the 13th Street Church of God of Prophecy (1408 South 13th Street, Cordele, GA 31015).
