She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Smith and Doris Rae Jones Smith; her husband Joseph Ivey Register (Joe); her son William Register (Bill); and her siblings, Randall Smith and Carolyn Smith West.

She is survived by: her grandson Zach (Annika Register); her daughter-in-law Kathy Register (Wayne Sirmans); and her sister Linda. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
