He is survived by: his son Frankie; his daughter-in-law Livia Harper of Hahira; his daughters, Vicki (Glen Sutton), Debbie (Steve Akins) and Anita (David Whitmer); his grandchildren, Dewayne Sutton of Valdosta, Thomas Sutton (Stefanie) of Valdosta, Stepheny Akins of Albany, Stephen Akins of Valdosta, Bryan DeLoach of Hahira, Jonathan Harper of Nashville, Danielle Sapp (Aaron) of Valdosta, Joseph Whitmer (Jodie) of Valdosta, Rachael Whitmer of Valdosta and Gregory Frier of Valdosta; his great grandchildren, Allison Todd (Austin), Gracie Sutton, Kayla Akins, Stevie Akins, Hunter Akins (Katie), BraeLee Smith, Cohen DeLoach, Colten DeLoach and Lincoln Sapp; his great great grandchildren, Nova Jane Sutton, Kaidyn Todd, Watson Smith and Harper Akins; and his sister-in-law Opal Green of Frostproof, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens (3945 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
