He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Strickland and Ruby Deese Strickland. He is survived by: his children, Timothy "TJ" Strickland, Jr. (Erica) of Dublin, Summer Lee (Manuel) of Tifton, Marci Strickland of Milledgeville and April Strickland of Milledgeville. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794).
