He was predeceased by: his father Charles Akridge Edwards; and his wife Wanda Edwards. He is survived by: his mother Sylvia McDaniel Edwards of Valdosta; his sister Jane Daniels (Jason) of Valdosta; his nephew Jacob Daniels of Valdosta; his niece Jenna Daniels of Valdosta; his mother-in-law Pat Fitchjarrell of Douglasville, GA; his brother-in-law John Fitchjarrell, Jr. of Marietta, GA; and his friend Susan Ashwell.
He enjoyed vacationing at Keaton Beach, FL, and participated in local charity events.
