She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Howell Mitchell; her son Stevie Mitchell; and her parents, Robert G. Edwards and Lena Edwards. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Alan Mitchell (Dawn), Megan Stokes (Lee), Courtney Miller (Andy), Katie Hackler (Andrew) and Heather Browning (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Noah Mitchell (Izzy), Aidan Mitchell, Cason Stokes, Holten Stokes, Blakelee Stokes, Sawyer Kate Hackler, Olivia Drew Hackler and Mary Collins Hacker; and her brother Lamar Edwards (Janice) of Forsyth.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Annie Mitchell will be remembered for her countless contributions to her family and community, and her kind-hearted nature will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
