With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Annette Nelms of Vidalia, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Annette left this world on May 13, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Avey Maddox, Sr. and Florene Tapley Maddox; and her brothers, John Wesley Maddox and Daniel Avey "Danny" Maddox, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Adrian Nelms of Vidalia; her children, Jason Nelms of Vidalia, Shane Nelms of Alston, Adrian "Smokey J" Nelms (Ann) of Port Hadlock, Washington and Melody Ann Kilmer of Port Hadlock, Washington; her pets, Oscar and Holly; Michael Godbee. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
