It is with sadness that the passing of Betty Young of Vidalia, Georgia is shared. Betty, born on October 3, 1951, passed away on July 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Grady L. McCoy, Charles Eugene McCoy, Susan Qunell "Susie" McCoy Mock, Ray McCoy, Colon McCoy, Bobby McCoy, Edward McCoy and Willie McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Leann McCoy of Bloomingdale and James Virgil McCoy (Tonia) of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; and her siblings, Reba Gill (Joe) of Inverness, Florida and Ralph McCoy (Jo) of Richmond Hill, Georgia. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Home of Chris McCoy (200 Sweet Gum Pl, Vidalia, GA 30474).
