He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde James Meeks and Elizabeth Susie Lumley Smith; and his siblings, James Alex Meeks, Dorothy "Dot" Meeks Shuman, Dollie Meeks Salter, Jean Meeks Williamson and Ervin Meeks.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Williamson Meeks; his sons, Chris W. Meeks of Rackettown and Kevin W. Meeks of Rackettown; his grandsons, Jarrett Meeks of Ft. Lauderdale and Sammi Carol Meeks of Rackettown; and his sister Pauline Meeks Burke of Vidalia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
