It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Sowell of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Connie Sowell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Kenneth Sowell; her granddaughter Carmen Rodgers; her parents, Green Thigpen and Grace Graham Thigpen; and her siblings, Franklin Thigpen and Joyce Thigpen McNeal.

She is survived by : her children, Jill S. Rodgers (Ryan) of Uvalda and Dan Sowell (Stefanie) of Oklahoma; her sisters, Shelby Thigpen Donaldson of Uvalda and Loretta Thigpen Truett (Charles) of Uvalda; her grandchildren, Neal Rodgers (Amy), Kaline Sowell, Ana Sowell and Zoey Sowell; and her great grandchild Ryan Rodgers.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
