She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dwight Nysewander and Mary Elizabeth Gamble Nysewander; and her brother David Nysewander. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy H. Morris of Vidalia; her children, Leah Morris Owen of Vidalia and Don Morris of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Hannah Owen of Leesburg, Declan Owen of Port Richey, Ella Owen of Vidalia, Sarah Owen of Vidalia, Cade Morris of Jacksonville and Jude Owen of Vidalia; and her siblings, Mark Nysewander of Dallas, GA, Carlton Nysewander of Alpharetta and Debbie Devaney (Robin) of Marietta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the South Thompson Baptist Church (225 S Thompson Rd, Vidalia, GA 30475).
