Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Dywayne for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his father Clyde "Junior" Chavis; his grandson Nathan Coursey; and his brother Jamie Chavis. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ennis Chavis; his children, Ashley Coursey (Raymond) and Jamie Chavis (Caitlyn); his mother Joan Taylor Raby; and his grandchildren, Braylen Coursey and Rayley Coursey of Vidalia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
