He is survived by: his wife Betty Dykes Meeks of Center; his siblings, Eloise Meeks Atkinson of Warner Robins, Mildred Meeks Tomlinson (Woody) of Vidalia, Jane Meeks McLendon of Lyons, Annette Meeks Van Gartzen of Brunswick, Lamar Meeks (Virginia) of Statesboro and Buddy Meeks of Lyons; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Dykes Brantley of Cedar Crossing and Bobby Dykes of Vidalia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
