He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Brittany Jacqueline McLain; and his parents, Jack E. Gibson and Louise Mason Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Paula N. Gibson; his children, Cynthia Gibson McLain (Jeff) of Vidalia and Alli J. Harris (Buddy) of Cocoa, Florida; his grandchildren, Jeffery McLain, Eryn McLain (Dawson Jones), Shelby J. Coursey, Gibson J. Harris and Sophia J. Harris; and his sister Brenda Gibson Sims (Doug) of Aurora, Colorado.
