It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Colson Barnes of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Kenneth Colson, Sr.; her husband Troy Barnes; her daughter Linda Colson Phillips; her great grandchild Dalton Jackson; her stepchildren, Lora Gale Oglesby and Kenneth Barnes; her parents, Willie Elliot Daniels and Ava Jane Hall Daniels; and her siblings, Cornelia Davis, Grace DeVore and John Allen "J. A." Rogers.

She is survived by : her children, Ann Blaxton (Larry), Debbie Robinson of Macon and Kenneth "Kenny" Colson, Jr. of Butler; and her stepchildren, Ronald Barnes, Donald Barnes, Sue Carter, Robbie Waller and Angie Lewis. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
