It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Scott of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Mount Vernon, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Erwin C. Scott, Sr.; her children, Erwin C. Scott, Jr. (Buddy) and Mary Elizabeth Connell (Beth); her grandson Cory Lynwood Scott; her parents, Sidney Middleton Jones and Cora Lee Lancaster Jones; and her siblings, Elmer Jones, Otho Jones, Mary Jones, Ruby J. Reagan and Gertrude J. Seals.
She is survived by : her daughters, Sylvia Gay Scott of Soperton, Debbie S. Zorn (Chris) of Vidalia and Cathie S. Campbell (Steve) of Lyons. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
