He was predeceased by: his parents, Ennis McDonald and Clyde Hamilton McDonald; and his sister Betty Jane McDonald Fountain. He is survived by: his wife Ann Agerton McDonald of Vidalia; his sons, Bart K. McDonald (Katherine) of Higgston and Barry Link McDonald of Tarrytown; his grandchildren, Hunter McDonald of Hawkinsville, Carson McDonald of Tarrytown, Cayden McDonald of Higgston, Holly McDonald and Karle McDonald; and his great grandchild Bailee Monroe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
