With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. C. Campbell of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wives, Betty Hobbs Campbell and Linda Carter Campbell; his parents, John Lewis Campbell and Lula Ann Yancey Campbell; his grandson Trae Gregory; and his siblings, Macy Sharpe, Millie McDonald, Ann Puryear, Elmer Campbell and Buddy Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Prescott and Gail Cook (John); his grandchildren, Kim Quattlebaum (Damien) of Temple, Cliff Prescott (Tara) of Monroe, Travis Gregory (Aaron), Jeremy Cook (Heather) and Christy Allen (Joel) of Milledgeville; and his sister-in-law Faye Bearden (Amos). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
