With sadness, we share the passing of Johnnie Smith of Vidalia, Georgia. Johnnie, born on June 6, 1933, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Lee "Jack" Smith; her granddaughter Ashley Hutchins; her great grandchild Peyton James Colson; and her siblings, William Fowler, Inez Fowler Gray, Frances Fowler Findley, Jackie Fowler Howell and Jean Fowler Tapley.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Smith (Wanda) of Baxley, Sandra Smith Hamilton (Mac) of Lyons, Susan Smith Hutchins (Mike) of Vidalia and Larry Smith (Tammy) of Vidalia; and her sister Thenila "Nan" Fowler Kight of Lyons. She is also survived by one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
