She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Jones Dees; her parents, Marcus Lee Kight and Sarah Lou Avant Kight; and her siblings, Rudene Kight Parker, James Marcus Kight, Leon Kight, Louise Kight Pinkerton, Sarah Lee Kight Irwin and Joe Kight.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Dees (Delores) of Travelers Rest, Debbie Dees (Tracey) and Terri Dees (Buddy Smith); and her grandchildren, Bobby Dees of Vidalia, Chase Dees of Coopers Landing, Melonie McBride (Adam) of Vidalia, Anna Beth Willett (Billy) and Caleb Brinson (Kristin) of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
