He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Bernice (Edenfield) and Myrtie Mae Holmes Edenfield; and his sister Shirley Edenfield Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Loretha Phillips Edenfield; his children, Tracey Edenfield Lovelace (Tim) of Vidalia and Chris Edenfield (Tammy) of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Paul Lovelace (Jennifer) of Newnan and Allison Edenfield (Maegan) of North Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Carson Lovelace and Harper Lovelace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
