He was predeceased by: his daughter Sylvia Denise NeeSmith; and his parents, Albert Pearly Taylor and Penelope Nelson Taylor. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Phelps (Clayton); his sister Christine Taylor Strickland of White Oak; and his grandchildren, Kyle Hinson Rowland (Heather) of Reidsville, Heather Rowland of Vidalia, Cassidy Padgett of Glennville, Stacy NeeSmith of Vidalia, Toni NeeSmith of Lothair and Shay Dykes. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
