He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Pearl Atkins Stephens; his in-laws, Aaron and Helen Lynn; his brother James Stephens; his sisters-in-law, Elma Stephens and Patricia Stephens; and his nephew Jamie Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Stephens; his daughters, Denise and Christy Stephens; his granddaughter Maribeth Stephens; his siblings, Reggie Stephens, Edward Stephens, Allen Stephens (Tonya), Jeannine King (William) and Steve; and his sister-in-law Teresa Lynn.
