He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis Chambers and Myrtice Louise NeeSmith Chambers; and his siblings, Lenora Chambers Burkett, Randall Chambers and Wyman Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Dale J. Chambers; his children, Sharon Chambers Hart of Cedar Crossing and Michael Chambers (April) of Cedar Crossing; his grandchildren, Cameron Chambers (Katie) of Hazlehurst, Ethan Chambers, Ansleigh Chambers of Lyons, Hope Hart of Cedar Crossing, Shelly Taylor (Ty) of Hazlehurst and Cale Brantley (McKenzie) of Towns; his great grandchildren, Liam Lariscey and Lawson Chambers; and his siblings, Ronnie Chambers (Sue) of Cedar Crossing, Nellie Chambers Parker, Dorothy Chambers Brantley (Jimmy), Cedar Crossing and Beverly Chambers Carpenter of Uvalda.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
