He was predeceased by: his parents, Brenda Wheeler Clark and Franklin "Red" Kilgore. He is survived by: his children, William Kilgore Jr. (Dani) of Vidalia, Desiree Kilgore of Vidalia, Katelyn Crapps (K'leb) of Santa Claus and Isabella Kilgore of Lyons; his siblings, Melissa Bell (Ennis) of Baxley and Franklin Randall Kilgore (Marie) of Glenwood; and his grandchildren, Declan, Payton Moore, Dawson Kilgore, Gracelynn, LJ Wilkes and Rainlynn Crapps. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home (1722 Mt Vernon Rd, Vidalia, GA 30474).
