She was predeceased by: her parents, Spright Dowell and Ruth Dowell; her husband Conell Walker; her son Richard Darryl Walker; and her brother Spright "Sonny" Dowell.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Herrington (David) and Rusty Walker (Toni) of Cordele; her brother Rufus Dowell (Angel) of Jacksonville; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Dowell of Cordele, GA and Marcene Freeman (Royce) of Hatley; her grandchildren, Ashley Walker of Rochelle, GA, Whitney Smith (Chris) of Cordele, GA, Chad Walker (Stephanie) of Ashurn, GA, Rachael Hughes (Clint) of Pitts, GA and Hannah Milikin of Cordele, GA; her great grandchildren, Cole Burnette (Sarah), Caleb Burnette, Cameron Burnette, Carter Barnard, Brock Tapp, Cooper Kramer, Cal Smith, Madi Smith, Jack Walker, Novalee Hughes and Camilla Joy Hughes; and her great great grandchild Thomas Dean Burnette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services (1415 E 24th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015).
