He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Wilkes and Esther Collier Wilkes; his former wife Patricia Wilkes; his wife Shirley Wilkes; and his children, Deborah Kay Wilkes and Randy Wilkes.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Lisa Cross of Vienna and Lori Gieger (Paul) of Yulee, FL.; and his grandchildren, Falon Skinner (Tommy) of Leesburg, Catie Lofton (Donte) of Cordele, Garrett Cross of Cordele, Dezirea Wilkes (Rachel Jones) of Jacksonville, FL, Ansley Geiger of Yulee, FL and Abbey Geiger of Yulee, FL..
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home - Vienna (1411 E Union St, Vienna, GA 31092). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oliver Cemetery.
