He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hugh Chapman and Dorothy Lee Carter Smith; his grandchild Gigi Durham; and his sister Belinda Wiggins. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (Duncan Lawson) and Laura Durham of Carrollton; his siblings, Alan, Sandy Chapman of Bremen, Becky Chapman of Kingsland, GA and Cindy Chapman of Kingsland, GA; his grandchildren, Novak Duncan Lawson, Ellesey Durham, Maycee Steele and Archer Rakestraw; and his former wife Linda Everett of Carrollton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Douglasville Church of God of Prophecy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
