It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Mabie of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Trickey and Fannie Samson Tricky; her husband John Elmer Mabie; and her siblings, Edna, Lyla, Ronnie, Chappy and Mavis Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Canales of Sacramento, CA, Debra Stewart of Sacramento, CA, Deana Stickley of Sacramento, CA, Daniel Stewart of Las Vegas, NV, Shannon Reynolds of Lithia Springs, GA, Kathleen Mabie of Villa Rica, GA and Michael Mabie of Villa Rica. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
