She is survived by : her father Joe Dowda; her children, Dana Holmes (William Olsen), Abby Rodriguez and Jace Garrison; her grandson Adam Holmes (Kenneth Carmichael); and her brothers, Mike Dowda (Lori), Greg Welch (Wendy), Chuck Welch and Wes Dowda (Debra).

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117).
