With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra Ruth Ricks of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away on May 18, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. T. "Porter" Ricks and Mary Cloteal Craig Ricks; her siblings, Paulette Ricks Butler and Albert B. "Hoss" Ricks, Sr.; her nephew Joe Ricks; her niece Misty Chandler Watts; and her close friend John Lenard Hudson.
She is survived by: her brother Terry Ricks (Donna); her sister-in-law Sonja Ricks; her nieces and nephews, Valarie Ingram (Mark), Tanny East (Thomas), Cecelia Brown (Sonny), Adam Watts, Tamra Gaines (Chris), Terri Lynn Valentine (Chris), Zeke Ricks (Lindsey), Jessi Gilbert (Russell), Jim Nixon, Kim Head (Marvin), Jody Mattox, Albert Ricks (Tracy) and Neal Ricks (Shea); and her pet Bethany.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Debra Ricks Memorial Nursing Scholarship at Truist Bank.
