He is survived by: his mother Rosalee Traylor Busby of Villa Rica; his wife Margaret "Elaine" Scott Busby of Villa Rica; his children, Jeffery Daniel Hardy of Villa Rica, Justin Hardy of Rockmart, Melissa Hardy of Rockmart, Raymond Iverson Busby (Cassie) of Dallas and Nate Busby (Kaitlyn) of Paulding County; and his siblings, Rebecca Busby of Villa Rica, Sam Busby of Villa Rica and Rita Morgan of Douglasville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
