He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Gwinnett Gaston and Christine Fountain Gaston. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lovell Gaston; his son Rick Geoffrey Gaston; his daughter-in-law Kelsey Amanda Gaston; his granddaughters, Rinnah Grace Gaston and Sophia Noelle Gaston; his sisters, Elaine Gaston Thompson and Linda Gaston Crowe; his uncle Billy; his aunt Wilma Fountain; and his friend Tim Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Glenn Memorial Gardens.
